Before we start

The ticket is for tram number twenty-eight! The old map is still missing. Detectives Mara and Theo have a ticket and a key. Today they meet a man with a camera. 0:00

Who is he? 0:11

The case begins

Ines waves from the door. 1:21

Ines: Be careful! Come back soon, please. 1:23

Mara and Theo walk down to the tram stop. There is Mister Bento at his fruit stall. Mara shows him the ticket. 1:25

Mara: Do you know this tram? 1:34

Mister Bento looks at it. He says it is tram number twenty-eight, and it goes down to the river. Then a young man comes to the stall. He has a camera. 1:35

He is Vasco, and he is a reporter. Vasco shows them a photo on his camera. It is the glass case, and it is empty. He took it on Tuesday. 1:46

Theo writes in his notebook. The archive says the map was safe on Thursday. 1:57

Theo: But this photo is from Tuesday! That is evidence! 2:02

Mara and Theo look at each other. Can they trust Vasco? 2:06

The search continues

Mara looks at Vasco. He has a kind face. 2:33

Mara: OK, Vasco! We can share our clues. 2:37

They shake hands. Mara shows him the little gold key. Which lock does it open? Vasco looks at it for a long time. 2:40

He says he does not know this key. Theo smiles, but he is a little nervous. He holds his notebook close. 2:49

Theo: I trust you a little. 2:56

Vasco laughs. A little is a good start! Then a bell rings. Ding, ding! 2:58

The tram goes down to the river. 3:06

What did we learn?

So can they trust Vasco? A little. Let's check our three words! Vasco is a reporter. 3:09

Reporter. Say it! Mara and Theo trust him a little. Trust. 3:16

Say it! The photo is from Tuesday, but the archive says Thursday. The photo is evidence. Evidence. 3:25

Say it! 3:35

Next time

That evening, Mara and Theo work late at the archive with Ines. Theo looks out of the window. 3:38

Theo: Mara, look! A man is at the side door! 3:45

Mara: It is Vasco! 3:48

He takes a picture of the door. Why? Is he a suspect now? Next time: why is Vasco at the side door? 3:50

Now stand up. Say our three words with me. Reporter! Trust! 3:59

Evidence! Great job, detectives! See you next time! 4:08
