Mara: I am Mara! 0:03

Theo: I am Theo! 0:04

They are detectives at the city archive in Lisbon. Can they find the map? 0:05

The case begins

Mara: Hello! I live in Lisbon! 1:20

Theo: I am from Sweden. 1:22

He is a new student. He lives with Mara's family. Today they have a school project at the city archive. Ines works at the archive. 1:24

Ines: Hello, Mara! Hello, Theo! I need your help. 1:34

Then she shows them the empty glass case. Last night, the old map was here. This morning, it is gone! 1:37

Mara: Do not worry, Ines. We are detectives! 1:45

Mara looks at the lock. 1:49

Mara: Look, Theo! Someone touched the lock. 1:51

She sees small marks on the glass. 1:54

Theo: Good eye, Mara! That is a clue! Marks near the lock. I write it down. 1:56

Then Theo talks to Catarina, the new helper. 2:02

Theo: Hello, Catarina! Is this your first week? 2:05

She looks at the floor and does not say much. Next, they read the visitor book. 2:08

Mara: Look at all these names! 2:14

Theo: Who came here last night? 2:15

The search continues

Now Mara looks in a tray of old papers. 2:39

Mara: Nothing here. Ask the guard, Theo. 2:42

Theo asks the night guard some questions. 2:45

Theo: Did you see anyone last night? 2:48

The guard: I walked around at ten o'clock and at midnight. Every door was locked. I did not see anyone. 2:49

He is a witness, because he was here last night. Then Mara finds something between two folders. 2:55

Mara: Theo, look! It is a tram ticket! 3:02

Theo: It is torn in two! 3:04

Mara: It has last night's date. 3:06

What did we learn?

The doors were locked. So someone with a key came in last night! Let's check our three words. The small marks near the lock are a clue. 3:09

The tram ticket is a clue too. Clue. Say it! The guard is a witness. 3:18

Witness. Say it! And an alibi? We do not know yet. 3:27

Alibi. Say it! Who has an alibi? We will ask next time. 3:35

Next time

Ines looks at the ticket. 3:44

Ines: A torn ticket? That is not good. 3:46

Mara holds the ticket up to the light. 3:49

Mara: This was not here yesterday! 3:52

Next time: where does the ticket come from? Now stand up. Say our three words with me. Clue! 3:54

Witness! Alibi! Great job, detectives! See you next time! 4:03
